We discovered several varieties of freshwater sea urchins in the pond. We have yet to determine exactly what these fascinating creatures eat, although we're pretty sure it's not goldfish.

We're not too sure what ancient creature created this fossilized form, but we think it would look great with some iris rising out of the middle. Or maybe some tulips....

Here in Lewis County, Tennessee, it's mostly gray and brown during the fall and winter, but we discovered this vibrant blossom very near our concrete krafting area.
We've taken some cuttings and hope to have a number of these available this
summer.
